Our practice has embraced Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This way we create a digital virtual model from which construction documents and schedules can be automatically extracted. In BIM software a digital model of your building is created. This model is always accessible for 3-d viewing. It includes all of the components with parametric information which a contractor can use during construction. Construction documents are an automated end product allowing for more time in design and less time in documentation. Construction documents are automatically updated as the BIM model is changed.
